I adore this more than words.

Today I’m dreaming of Africa, the only place that feeds my soul.

A few pictures I’ve taken over the years - I would like to be there right now.

But I can’t - so images are all I have to keep me going until I see my soul again.

The most cutest brilliant blog!

A little saturday night inspiration

A little saturday night inspiration

It’s been a long time thinking and discussing, but now I’m finally ready to buy in London.. 6 years of ‘uumming and aaahhhing’ I’ve taken the leap to start property searching, set my budget in place and the dreaded mortgage deals! Ekk..

So with this in mind, I’ve been trawling blog after blog for ideas on the perfect room and my ideal space.. a lot is wishful thinking of course, but so far i’ve collected 1000s pictures and separated into rooms, colour themes, modern, traditional and so on..

I think I’m enjoying this more than actually looking for a property! But it’s definitely opened my eyes to being able to see past the interior and working with what you’ve got!

My new house will be a tiny box, which I will work with and love.. but I can and will still dream of bigger and better. And blog about it at the same time.

Concrete space mailout!! Oh yeah

Last night I had the pleasure of attending the soft launch of The Electric House re-opening, one of the great and many advantages of being a manager at the Soho House group.. well where to start. http://www.electrichouse.com

TRANSFORMED!! Now don’t get me wrong, it was a pleasurable place before, but nothing compared to now. As you enter - you feel like you’ve been transported to a Manhattan cocktail bar, with a venetian twist from the plush dark blue leather stools and dark metal bar top to the velvet bunkets… As you move into the restaurant it has a cleaner, lighter feel with burnt yellow backs and mint green chairs, checkered floor and the walls are adorned with beautiful artwork.

We had a sensational meal, you have to try their signature sausage roll dish! so yummy.

We ate courgette, pecorino fritti to start, salmon with asparagus and A had monkfish with scallops, beautiful.

But, I have to say the best part of the evening was the desserts - we decided to share the white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake and the praline shortbread. Sensational -the explosions going off in my mouth were wild.

I wish I could of taken pictures to show you, but you know the rules!

Tommy margaritas to finish and a snapshot in the photo booth.

I left feeling ecstatic and entranced.. If your a member - it opens next week! MAKE SURE TO BOOK!

Birmingham

Always a pleasant experience getting the train home.. First of all, trains cancelled - finally an hour later a train arrives, this of course is the slow train; which decides to take a tour of the whole English countryside. Wonderful views although missing much needed English sunshine.

Once arrived in Birmingham, I know I’m nearly home as a burly group of lads start screaming profanities at everyone, whilst a crazy lady decides to harass every passerby with the lords view and letting us all know how evil we are/going to die! Last thing that really let’s me know I’m home is an Indian family letting their three little children lean over the platform, not even blinking an eye.. This obviously can happen anywhere in the UK, but the only difference is, on this occasion the family start to have a disastrous fight with another family - whom were trying to stop their children from leaning on the tracks!

This ended in security being called and loads of ‘tosser, cunt, twats’ being hurled..

Then I got on train.

WOW I’M HOME!!! :)
